need to remember to make reservations later this evening at Sublime... have a date yay! :):):) =^_^=
Her name is Caydin, and... well, there's something going on that actually makes me real giddy and happy when she's around. It's weird, but momentous maybe, it's the same sort of giddyness I get with Sarny and FFerret and Jen and myBloofox. Warm and happy and excited and giddy, I would almost jump up and down waving my paws and SQUEEEing if that wouldn't be too embarassing to actually do (tho I did it on the deck of Mowry the other night after dancing with her for a while, after she had to go). I've never really know any jogs before, but... she's nice, and fun to be with, and enjoys sailing with me, and so the other day under slightly embarassing circumstances I asked if she wanted to go out to dinner sometime and she said YES! :)
She's a little shorter than me, has beautful eyes (they kinda remind me of Sarny's in a way, the shape) and her fur is the most delicious orange and white, like a walking dreamsicle. Well, she calls it orange, anyway -- I think it's more of a sunset cinnamon, personally. She doesn't seem to really be the girly-girl type, wears mostly jeans and t-shirts and punky stuff but it all looks good on her, and the one time I -did- see her in anything provocative... she really, really is stunningly attractive, but just opts to not show it, I guess. But that's fine, it works with her and it's rather cute too. And she can dance pretty good too. :)
Happy kitty. :) I just need to figure out what I'm going to wear. I know I have something, I'm sure; but Cayding told me with a little each of excitement and embarassment that she went shopping so she could have something casual-nice to wear, instead of her normal... and won't tell me what, I'm so intrigued... but I'll find out tomorrow night I guess. Sublime takes reservations no later than 24 hours prior, so I better remember! :)

going to go for my run, and then probably down to the boatyard to work on the production hull of the Flying Cat for a while... I got the show hull on display at the show in Sanchon now, but it's only a floating mockup and doesn't have any of the normal rigging, or sails, or actually pretty much anything other than the hulls and a mockup mast. I'm so close to getting it done -- I'm just uncomfortable with how it handles when on a reach, lots of heeling and it flies the windward hull a little but submerges the leeward too much for my own comfort... might have to fill it with closed cell foam instead of air chambers to see if it makes a difference... anyway, Pensive has been playing with the prototype when I'm not working on it and he seems to be having a great deal of fun with it and wants it done so he can try racing it, but seems to be having some issues with the sail... so... we'll see. But confidence is high :) I might have a winner on my hands. I saw a few catamarans at the Show; in fact, next to mine on the same pier is a large cruising sail cat prototype, but nothing in the Tako-sized racing category, which is what I'm aiming for.
Oh... and today, if the weather holds, I'll be launching and christening my latest waterborne baby, a Trudeau Catboat named Hellisha, at the estate pier in Mowry. She's a small enough boat, smaller than Undine, actually, so it'll be easier to have her live in Mowry instead of in Caddo with her sister ships. And I saw Jacqueline Trudeau's next work on display there... she starts taking orders for it next month, and I might have to have one... but probably will wait until after I start selling the Flying Cat.

that's me and my shop talk, I need to run now, my legs are twitching and I need to get out of the hourse for a bit and under the (slightly cloudy) sky.
Mew!
